Kate Wyler was supposed to go work in Afghanistan. But completely unexpectedly, she is appointed as the US ambassador to the United Kingdom. The female diplomat will have to resolve international crises, create strategic alliances in London, and adapt to her new position in the spotlight. And all of this mixed in with trying to maintain her marriage with her colleague-diplomat and political star Hal Wyler.
