The city of Derry in the state of Maine seems quiet and ordinary until a long nightmare begins to loom over its streets. In 1962, a new family moves here with their son, and what was supposed to be a peaceful move turns into an immersion into ancient evil. With the disappearance of a child, the appearance of frightening phenomena, and the entire history of the city still alive - tranquility becomes only an illusion.
