The Girl with the Needle

The plot of the film is based on the true story of Danish serial killer Dagmar Overbye, who helped poor women get rid of unwanted children. Copenhagen, 1910. One day, a young factory worker named Karolina starts working for Dagmar, who turns out to be abandoned and pregnant. Karolina would like to give her child up for adoption to give it a chance at a better life. She relies on Dagmar\'s help, thinking that she is involved in finding adoptive families. To avoid poverty, Karolina takes on the role of a wet nurse. But one day, the heroine discovers the horrifying truth about Dagmar\'s real activities.
