Author Greg Russo arrives at the Ludlow College campus to rebuild his relationship with his daughter, Katie, a professor struggling after her husband left her for a grad student. While hosting creative writing seminars, Greg discovers that his wildly popular, hyper-masculine protagonist, Rooster, is not only a hit among the students but is closely associated with Greg himself. Swept up by the carefree youth, the writer dives into the college party scene, increasingly blurring the lines between fiction and reality as he begins acting exactly like his rugged alter ego in this engaging character drama.
