The series is based on Jeffrey Diver's bestseller "Unprecedented Game". Young and charming Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley) is a private detective and expert in surviving in extreme conditions. He travels across different parts of America and earns a living by helping local law enforcement agencies and private individuals find missing people and solve crimes. He does not work alone and during his adventures, he can always rely on the help of a cohesive team: curators Velma (Abby Mackenzie) and Teddy (Robin Weigert), computer genius Bobby Excel (Eric Greig), and lawyer Rini Green (Fiona Rene), with whom he once had a romance.
