A Deadly American Marriage

The documentary film is dedicated to the tragic story of Irishman Jason Corbett, who was killed in 2015 in North Carolina. The man died from fatal injuries inflicted by his second wife, Molly Martens, and her father, former FBI agent Tom Martens. They claimed they acted in self-defense, however, the investigation and court did not find evidence of this. The film features interviews with Jason's children, Sarah and Jack, who refute the accusations against their father, as well as with the Martens, investigators, and lawyers involved in the investigation and legal proceedings. Special attention is given to the emotional impact on the children, who witnessed the tragedy and subsequent legal processes.
